Each year, Kincardine and District Secondary School hosts a Grade 8 Information Night to assist students in the 8th Grade with their transition into secondary school. During this night, students are free to roam the school, explore the hallways and classrooms, and even talk to some teachers about courses.

Along the way, the students also get a chance to try out robots that the Kinetic Knights have created. They become exposed to the exciting world of FIRST® and are more inclined to join the team in the future.
